Project Manager Job at the School District of Lee County
The School District of Lee County is looking for a project manager to oversee the management of assigned District projects from inception to completion in a safe and cost-effective manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree.
- One (1) year of project and associated budget management experience.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of project and associated budget management experience.
- Proven experience successfully managing business/department functions and staff.
- Industry certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills. Knowledge of pertinent regulations, policies, and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention. Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment, materials, practices, computers, and applications.
- Ability to assist and coordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
- Ability to professionally and effectively respond to customer needs and requests for service or assistance.
