The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking a Project Engineer to be part of a team developing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
This position is in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL
The successful candidate will typically have 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

- Responsible for creating Functional & Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FFMEA/PFMEA)
- Developing Assembly and Integration CONOPS, supporting the development of MGSE tooling and all other necessary equipment to perform integration operations.
- Tracking and ensuring completion of FFMEA/PFMEAs across the program

The successful candidate will typically have 2 - 5 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to coordinate a project and lead a small diverse team of engineers.
- Understanding of basic Functional & Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FFMEA/PFMEA) development.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required.
- Experience in product manufacturing, assembly operations, testing or equivalent environment.
- Experience with factory production operations, quality control, and/or product delivery or equivalent.
- Experience in spacecraft and/or aerospace production environment.
