HYG is looking for an energetic individual who will have a positive influence on the Global Supply Chain team. As Program Manager, you will have responsibility for a range of projects each with their own leads and teams that are designed to further our strategic business objectives. Program success is measured by achieving strategic objectives of supply chain and more broadly the objectives of HYG.
Responsibilities:
Lead: The role will manage managers of global projects and directly manage large projects and teams and is empowered to make day to day and project length (< 2 year) decisions for project teams and vendors.
Communicate: Interface with C level executives and the Board of Directors, as well as peers regarding Supply Chain Programs.
Plan: Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
Monitor: Closely monitor project progress milestones and deliverables, proactively adjusting as needed to ensure successful completion.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a timely manner.
Quality Assurance: Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing and engineering, to ensure smooth project execution.
Problem-Solving: Analyzing complex supply chain problems and finding effective solutions.
Budget: Manage project budgets and resources, including vendor and supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • B.A./B.S. in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or Engineering required, M.B.A. or Masters Degree preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years in project management with broad business knowledge and managerial experience
  • Project Management related to Purchasing Practices and Procedures
  • PMP, CIPS, ISM or equivalent Certification
  • Strong Business Management System (JIT, DFT, TQM) experience
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong capabilities in MS-Excel (advanced), MS-PowerPoint and MS-Project
  • Ability to keep multiple projects moving simultaneously.
  • Experience in off-highway mobile equipment is a plus.
