Responsibilities:
  • Work with the customer on solutioning for the data modernization activities
  • Coordinate and facilitate along with team members strategy planning sessions
  • Provide innovative, executive level strategic and financial advisory services to CDC customer.
  • Actively contribute to thought leadership initiative, including creation and dissemination of various artifacts such as a strategic planning document, financial analysis document, etc.
  • Collaborate with CDC customer to support and deliver on new engagements.
  • Proven results leading and overseeing customer and/or partner success in the following domains: front-end and back-end solution architecture, enterprise architecture, development, and management strategies, change management, and direct leadership in designing solutions that meet or exceed customer needs
  • Track record of continuous learning, as well as leading projects that push the capabilities of existing products and services.
  • Responsible for the overall management of the contract and ensuring that the technical requirements and schedules in the contract are being fully supported in a timely manner.
  • Manage programming and systems supporting the contract.
  • Organize, direct, and coordinate the estimating, planning, conducting, producing, monitoring, and reporting of all the contractor's personnel support activities.
  • Assign, schedule, and review work of subordinates.
  • Plan, direct, control, schedule, coordinate, and organize utilization and management of tasks.
  • Interface with CDC management personnel, CDC technical monitors and staff, and other cognizant CDC officials.
  • Develop and motivate assigned Contractor staff to improve performance and quality throughout the duration of the performance period;
  • As required, meet (in-person, telephonically, or via Skype or Microsoft Teams) with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or assigned office point of contact to discuss task order work assignments, schedules, workloads, potential problems and their resolutions;
  • Conduct biweekly or monthly staff meetings with all staff members to make assignments, review workloads, discuss plans, address problems and develop solutions.
  • Provide progress reports outlining accomplishments/milestones met, planned activities, recommendations of process improvements and risks/issues and delivered to customer via email or through teleconference, with activities broken out by task.
  • Manage external and internal communication to ensure consistent and frequent messaging across work streams, with customer.
  • Ensure schedules and project work streams are defined, managed, and reviewed in accordance with all policies, requirements, processes, and guidance; define overarching project metrics and work stream metrics; support development of project schedules; manage integrated project schedules; and provide support to work stream managers to ensure up-to-date and accurate schedules,
  • Manage risks and issues aligned to the work performed to ensure each work stream is producing according to plans and issues are identified early along with corresponding strategies for remediation
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or master’s degree
  • At least 10-15 years’ experience managing health programs and IT related initiatives
  • Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the offerors proposed methodologies and approach of a project of similar scope, to include recruiting and retaining qualified staff, procurement of materials and equipment, maintaining standards, training, problem resolution, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, to include at the Senior Executive level
  • Professional interpersonal and computer skills, to include but not limited to, skills in operating Microsoft Office software, with emphasis on Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook as well as SharePoint;
  • Skills in managing and prioritizing multiple assignments with strict deadlines and ability to coordinate efforts among many offices;
  • Expertise to prepare and present information/data via oral briefing(s) and/or by written reports
  • Experience leading a geographical dispersed team
