Big Brothers Big Sisters has the following position available: Program Events Manager located in Dallas, TX.

Position Summary:
The Program Events Manager will maintain a consistent presence in the Greater Dallas community on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) for the purpose of cultivating, managing and sustaining partnerships with mentor-rich organizations. Further, this position will steward individual volunteers to the point of application. The candidate will coordinate Program related events and training for matches across the Greater Dallas Market. Develop and maintain school, church, private and public partnerships to enhance the support of program services. Assist with production of agency communications to Volunteers (Bigs), mentees (Littles), staff and partners regarding agency opportunities and broad match support information.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities, and Activities
- Coordinate and Lead Program events for Bigs, Littles and families in the Greater Dallas Market.
- Ensure that matches are directed, and have access to minimal or no cost activities in Greater Dallas Market on a regular basis (via newsletter, ticket donations, corporate partners etc.)
- Manage and Develop Volunteer Newsletter to be sent out twice monthly to all matched community based volunteers.
- Plan, implement and attend all Program events and trainings.
- Develop all event collateral to help advertise the program match events and collect RSVP for events.
- Ensure stewardship of agency sponsors.
- Coordinate the solicitation, receipt and distribution of donated and discounted tickets, school supplies, holiday gifts and other items for the agency’s Matched and Unmatched children
- Provide high quality communication and customer service to partners, volunteers and families
- Provide documentation to appropriate Program (and Agency) personnel regarding attendance at match activities by volunteers, Littles, Parents and staff
- Support and ensure program enhancements are supported and met as required by grant funders. Assit in the gathering of information for grant reporting.
- Supervise volunteers and interns as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned and required

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably within marketing, public relations, recreation, training or human services disciplines
- Experience in training, including coordinating community resources, and coordinating training events
- Experience in activity planning and/or training field required
- Experience in graphic design sites/ CANVA
- Must have knowledge of child safety indicators
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish fluency skills preferred
- Experience directly managing volunteers
- Intermediate level proficiency in MSWord, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, including keyboard skills of 45 words per minute, error free
- Flexibility and availability to accommodate weekday early/evening work hours and some weekend hours
- Willingness to work within culturally diverse environments
- Ability to travel to varying city-wide venues, and occasionally to headquarters or other agency locations
