Program Development Vista Job at AmeriCorps
The overall goal of this project is to expand the transitional housing opportunity as well as create additional housing for families experiencing homelessness in Tulsa, Oklahoma through Surayya Anne Foundation. The VISTA will conduct a program review and evaluation to identify opportunities that were not anticipated during the initial program/service design that would enhance the effectiveness of intervention; mitigate programs falling short of achieving intended outcomes; and eliminate ineffective implementation features. The VISTA will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SAF programs to enable serving more families in need of housing and support. This project will alleviate poverty by expanding and enhancing housing options for homeless families in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This would serve families through both the foundation's Transitional Housing Program and Permanent Housing apartments they plan to build. Families will also have increased access to intensive case management services that will assist them in becoming self-sustaining.
Member Duties : The VISTA member will be responsible for expanding and explicitly detailing our onsite programming and policies for the clients we serve. The Program Development VISTA will review and document current Surayya Anne Foundation program capabilities, requirements, resource demands, and opportunities. They will also, conduct a program administration policy review and update to align with accepted professional/industry norms and best practices. Additionally, they will assist in reviewing, planning, and implementing further programming to support the organization's mission.
