Dungarvin is hiring a Program Coordinator to support people with developmental disabilities in our Behavioral Adult Day Program at both our Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa locations as a Float position.

Candidates will have a desire to create a lasting positive impact on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to reach their goals. This is an exceptional opportunity for a leader dedicated to the provision of progressive and goal-oriented supports in the community for people with developmental disabilities

Starting wage: $23/hr. & $23.65/hr. after 90 days!

This is a Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Float Position!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Program Director in maintaining consistency through the program
  • Our day program services are currently following a hybrid model – in-person and also virtual sessions
  • Carry out the responsibilities and duties of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) during all direct care shifts when necessary
  • Individual care
  • One-on-one training of staff
  • Communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members at their primary site
  • Individual finances
  • Recreation
  • Program Services
  • Educational/Vocational programs
  • Documenting and follow-up of individual and program related issues such as ISP reports
  • Health care and nutrition
  • Facility management

The program coordinator reports directly to the Program Director and acts as a Lead to our Direct Support staff!


Qualifications


Must haves:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Acceptable background check
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in working with developmentally disabled adults and/or equivalent experience
  • Have basic computer knowledge

Preferred but not required:

  • At least 1 year of prior experience in this (or related) field
  • Have prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy
  • Should also have prior experience provided behavioral supports
