Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of a variety of programs and events related to teaching and learning, including workshops, seminars, conferences, and other professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.
  • Maintain records and files related to the Center’s operations, including budgets, grants, events, and other documents.
  • Manage the Center’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Coordinate the distribution of materials and resources related to the Center’s programs and services.
  • Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain the Center’s online presence, including its website, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and greet visitors to the Center.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Education Required: High School Diploma
Experience Required: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a higher education setting.

Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Education Preferred: Some college coursework preferred
Experience Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in an administrative support role

The Successful Candidate Will
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with website management and social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Customer service oriented, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment and procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic budgeting and financial management concepts.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the individual is regularly required to sit, use
