Position Title: Production Tech - 1st Shift
Wage: $19/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6:30am-5:30pm
QPS has an amazing 1st shift career opportunity for a Production Tech available in the cave subtropolis in North Kansas City near Ameristar Casino. - Work in a modification assembly line to produce quality production by operating the required equipment
- Operate equipment assigned per standard work instructions and complete required paperwork accurately
- Measure parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications
- Verify all measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and other tools are in proper working order
- Teardown and assembly of body panels, powertrain, and chassis components
- Complete assigned tasks within established specifications and tolerance per SOPs
- Inspect product before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
- Experience in automotive or electrical assembly a plus
- Regularly lift 50lbs or 75lbs as a team lift
- Stand for entire shift
- Bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand work instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Steel toed boots
