Overview

We need a leader able to deliver on our promise to customers and consumers, we count on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. Currently, we’re seeking a Production Manager to join our team and manage warehouse production operations within our fulfillment center located in Lowell, Arkansas. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the production personnel and all associated production activities, ensuring quality standards, and a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is a people leader first and foremost: having a strong history of successes leading people and change management. Additionally, the ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse production at any given time. The ideal candidate must be able to motivate and mentor the warehouse personnel to achieve production goals, coordinate orders, achieve excellence in quality, inventory, and labor management activities, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of tens of thousands of products’ orders every year.

Responsibilities of the Production Manager

  • People Leader – Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Oversee daily operations, while ensuring a safe working environment and quality controls throughout the workflows.
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
  • Develop and report daily production metrics.
  • Implement and lead Lean Principal philosophies throughout all processes impacting warehouse operations.
  • Implement continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies throughout the operations processes.
  • Review and prepare workflow, labor and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred in management, operations, supply chain, or comparable field of study.
  • 2+ years’ experience in successfully leading people required.
  • 3+ years’ experience customer service, transportation, or logistics preferred.
  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office applications; including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
  • Experience with WMS (i.e., SAP, Oracle, others)
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
