Position Summary:

To support the Rotational Molding team and contribute to the efficient operation in the manufacturing, assembly and supply of Sealite roto-molded products to the highest quality, while achieving the corporate goals of the company.

Our Plastics division incorporates Rotational Moulding, Injection Moulding, Foaming, Tooling Operations and Dispatch duties to produce and ship our quality marine buoy products all over the world.

This Production Assistant position will assist in the production of roto-molded plastic marine buoys, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow safe work practices and procedures, and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.
• Molding of plastic parts through use of roto-molding machine.
• Concrete and foaming of roto-molded plastic parts.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections.
• Package finished goods ready shipment.
• Assist with routine maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain clean, tidy and safe work place.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by communicating improvement to supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and OH&S regulations.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.
• Cooperate with other staff, supervisors and managers.
• Perform any other duties as directed by Rotational Molding Team Leader or Production Supervisor.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift License
• Ability to lift 80lbs independently
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner
• Knowledge of general use of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical capability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
