Granite + Quartz Countertop Production Foreman Digital Templater

We are looking for someone to join our team long-term as a Production Foreman / Templater. We are a family-owned company established in 2001 that values our team members and treats them like family. We work in all aspects of Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Soapstone, and Quartz (engineered stone). We work in high-end residential with a small production crew and our crew is cross-trained to install and fabricate in the shop. This position begins with learning our production processes and company standards by shadowing current leaders.

We strive to provide our team members with the best possible working environment. We have a clean modern facility, with a heated and air-conditioned shop, heated water for polishing, good lighting, all wet fabrication (no dust), and state of the art install and fabrication tools for efficiency and install equipment to minimize physical lifting.

Production Foreman Summary:

• Production Foreman responsibilities include the coordination of projects from template to install. Communicate with the office on project scheduling to ensure a workload that can be achieved with the current production team. Follow through to make sure that projects are completed on schedule. Digital templating with the Proliner. Programming the CNC saw in Alphacam. Glue up miters in the shop. Lead installer of all types of installs (i.e., countertops, full backsplash, waterfalls, shower walls, fireplaces, etc.). QC parts before they are loaded for install. You will not be required to lead all installations, but only the complicated ones or installs that also require templating. Manage all aspects of installs including training of other installers. Ordering shop and install supplies. Knowledgeable in a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in the stone industry
• The desire to serve others and lead with humility
• Willing to jump in and get the work done (not just directing others)
• Digital templating experience (preferably Proliner)
• Proficient with programming in Alphacam
• General computer skills (Word, Excel, Windows, etc.)
• Ability to take measurements and make calculations
• CNC sawing as well as manual fabrication experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well with others
• Skilled and experienced at training and managing others
• Organized
• Punctual
• Clean driving record
• Drug and alcohol free (*Pass a background and drug test)
