We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Production Associate on our Manufacturing Team based at our Johnson City, Tennessee Facility!

We are seeking individuals who are ambitious, attentive, dedicated and interested in learning a number of skills to grow and advance! Selected candidates will be hired into a team and required to learn different manufacturing job functions and skills. Prior manufacturing or production experience is not required.

Positions available in various manufacturing departments including:

• Veneer Pressing
• Sponge

1st Shift, 10 hours, Monday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

3rd Shift (Sponge), 10 hours, Monday - Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and perform one or more operations to manufacture, assemble, label, inspect and package product (wood flooring).
• Work in a safe manner.
• Achieve production goals safely and within quality standards.
• Work on warehouse production floor at all stations.
• Maintain productivity on all systems and deliver a quality product while meeting all production deadlines.
• Participate in training activities.
• Maintain clean and orderly work space.
• Inform appropriate supervisor of any process malfunctions or product issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Overtime and occasional weekend shift work may be required.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Read, understand and follow work instructions.
• Must be able to perform repetitive lifting, up to 50+ pounds, bending, twisting, turning, stooping and standing for long periods of time.
• Maintain effective working relationship with other employees.
• Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
