Starting Payrate of $20/hr with a shift differential of $1.00

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Production Associates at our facility in Milford, New Jersey. These team members create value by safely operating machines to meet and exceed the plant’s production and quality goals. Candidates who acquire the knowledge and skills to be successful in this position will have exciting opportunities for advancement.

This position starts at $20/hour and will work 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) or 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Employees are also eligible for our Performance Pay program that could offer up to a 6% quarterly bonus.

Those selected for this role will become a member of a close-knit team dedicated to safely producing corrugated sheets for a long list of valued customers. Our Milford site has a history of internal advancement. After receiving one-on-one training, new team members will have the opportunity to advance to become a skilled corrugator operator, quality control specialist, or powered industrial vehicle operator. During training, they will learn to safely operate a machine to produce corrugated sheets according to customer specifications, perform basic preventative maintenance, conduct required quality checks, and maintain a clean work area.

We are located directly across the Delaware River from Riegelsville, PA, in a picturesque countryside. We are just 20 minutes from Easton, PA; 20 minutes from Phillipsburg, NJ; 20 minutes from Quakertown, PA; 25 minutes from Bethlehem, PA; and 30 minutes from Doylestown, PA.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
  • Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
  • Perform basic asset care duties to include routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
  • Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
  • Operate and/or work around mobile equipment

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
  • One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment

Other Considerations/Physical Requirements

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment
  • Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day, in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment
