The Global Product Commercialization Manager is responsible for planning, directing and implementing HD Microsystems™ product commercialization framework (PCF) process. The Global PCF Manager implements a standard “stage gate” new product commercialization process ranging from ideation, scouting, product development, product scale up and global role out. The manager is also a regional Product Manager for all products manufactured at the Parlin, New Jersey site, meeting global revenue and profitability, pricing, product life cycle, some supply issues, efficiency and allocation, and product change management.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Serve as Product Manager for all HDM products made at Parlin New Jersey Manufacturing site.

  • Support and develop pricing, branding, advertising, direct and indirect marketing of company products.

  • Reviews existing product life cycles, ensure attainment of business objectives.

  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans in support of identified segment strategies.

  • Analyze competitors, recommend product(s) to better the competition and improve our competitive situation.

  • Work effectively with Product Managers to keep product line up relevant and profitable.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Applications Engineering, and I/O to update existing product definitions.

  • Serve as Global New Product Commercialization Leader.

  • Coordinate the Global Product Commerization Framework (PCF) in HDM, a traditional “gated” process.

  • Makes sure PCF project leaders are on track and delivering on product commercialization goals.

  • Define market segments, market strategy and profitability of new business opportunities within PCF.

  • Collaborate with R&D, Applications Engineering, and I/O to develop and complete new product definitions.

  • Recommend new product concepts, product enhancements and new product priorities based on market research, voice of customer, input from trade shows, consortium/university to find requirements and new market trends.

  • Plan and manage new product launches including creating product launch content.

Technical Background and Skills:

  • B.S. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and/or and a Master’s in a relevant scientific field is required.

  • M.B.A. is considered “an advantage” but is not required.

  • At least 10 years experience in the Electronic Materials Space, semiconductor materials is an advantage.

  • Experience in Product Management.

  • Experience in launching innovative technology and/or new products to the market.

  • Fluent English skills.

Location/Travel requirements:

Preferred location is New York City area. Travel to JP/TW for training may be required depending on the candidate. Total travel ~<10% of time, minimum.
