Product Demonstrator Job at Dickey's Retail Company - Dickey's Barbecue Pit
Description:
As a Product Demonstrator, you will be introducing Kroger customers/members to Dickey’s BBQ Pit Sausage and hot links by conducting product tasting events, product sampling or product demonstrations in store. Shifts are generally 8 hours and primarily on Fri/Sat/Sun but there will be opportunity for mid-week demos as well.

Weekly Pay / Direct Deposit - $16.00 - $18.00 / hr.

Responsibilities:
· Preparing, cooking, cutting food while maintaining a clean environment (All equipment provided by Dickey’s Retail Company)
· Professionally engaging customers to communicate key product features.
· Compliance with food safety and food handling requirements
· Working with the team to achieve sales goals for the products.
· Making sure product on shelf is fully stocked on shelf prior to demonstration, during, and prior to leaving.
· Compensation of 1 extra hour per shift to account for breaking down/setting up and drive time
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years of age with reliable transportation.
· Must be able to work weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) and major holidays.
· Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on days worked.
· Active role that requires regular lifting, standing and a wide range of motion
· Enjoy working with the public and being around crowds of people.
· Food handling, Fast Food or Retail experience helpful but not required.
