We are seeking a qualified teacher to round out our 12 person team. We utilize a teaching team approach with three teacher teams to promote lower ratios and a great work life balance. Our teachers must have a great love and patience for children. Helping promote healthy mental and emotional development of individual children, so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of their education experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a careful and creative program, suitable for infant, toddlers, or preschool age children
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to help facilitate daily development of our students.
  • Observe each child and assist in increasing their social competencies and building age appropriate student's self-esteem levels.
  • Encourage children to interact positively with both peers and adults.
  • Organize and implement a daily routine that includes appropriate activities, rest time as well as lunch and snack opportunities.
  • Supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
  • Track children’s progress and report to parents and program administrators both in person and through our Brightwheel software messaging system.
  • Communicate with parents regularly to integrate all family cultures and different beliefs into the school day.
  • Communicate positively with co-workers both in assigned classroom and throughout the school.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
  • Be familiar with CDHS child care rules and regulations for Early Learning Centers

Ideal Skills

  • Two year or more of ECE teaching experience
  • Bachelors in Education or Level 1+ in the PDIS
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Fun, friendly, and reliable
  • Certification in Infant/Toddler and Child CPR and First Aid
  • Excited to includes a wide variety of physical & sensory activities throughout the day
