Seasonal Prep Cook Positions are available at CDA National!

CDA National is an upscale private club and world-class golf course located along the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene. The beautiful new mountain-modern clubhouse is hiring for all kitchen positions for the 2023 season. Join our team and gain experience while working in a state-of-the-art kitchen alongside our knowledgeable chefs. We would love to have you be part of this new adventure!

Responsibility/Areas and Duties (but not limited to):

  • Follow daily prep list assigned by the kitchen management team.
  • Preform basic cooking, preparing, washing, chopping, portioning, wrapping as assigned.
  • Label and properly store food items
  • Comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Clean and sanitize prep cook workspace and other kitchen areas as assigned
  • Assist with dishwashing duties as needed
  • Assist with putting away deliveries into designated spots

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and move about freely in a multi-floor building and open space. The employee is frequently required to visually observe the condition of their surroundings. He/she is routinely required to bend, stoop, stand, walk, carry, and lift objects weighing 50 pounds or less. It is inevitable that other duties will arise from time to time.

Job Benefits:

  • Base Rate Depending on Experience: $19-22 (DOE)
  • Uniforms provided.
  • Full-time employees receive 401k, holiday time off, and part-time employees are eligible for 401k.

The position is seasonal and scheduled from Mid April to the end of October

Requirements:
  • Experience not necessary but is a plus
  • Able to safely operate commercial kitchen machinery
  • Able to stand for 8- hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds
  • Availability to work morning shifts, weekdays, weekends
  • Availability to work occasional evening shifts
