DSO Team Straumann Group

Our Dental Service Organization (DSO) Department is dedicated to leveraging our brands and services to be the leading partner for dental service organizations across the world. The DSO Team is committed to building and serving corporate accounts in all product segments (implants, bone regeneration, digital, orthodontics, and preventive dentistry) through winning business concepts and a consultative sales approach. By addressing the entire value creation model, the DSO Team helps organizations grow their practices by incorporating new treatment concepts, enhancing the patient experience, and driving innovation.

Consulting Services

Consulting Services support value co-creation in strategic partnership with our Dental Service Organization customers, within long-term business relationships. Working directly with customer teams from C-Suite to practice and in close collaboration with the Straumann DSO team and inter-departmental stakeholders, Consulting Services assess opportunities, align value measures, jointly plan, track, and manage change initiatives to create concrete, sustainable results in such areas as:

• 
  Clinician and staff training and education
• Operational excellence
• Patient experience
• Practice marketing

Job Purpose

In the role of a Practice Growth Consultant DSO, you will be instrumental in establishing high-level strategic connections with clients, driving business growth initiatives, and skillfully managing all aspects of DSO consulting projects. Your unwavering passion for supporting exceptional specialty growth will enable our clients to thrive and achieve success within their specific fields. Travel, domestic, up to 75%.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Strategic customer relationship building:

• Identify key stakeholders within target DSOs (Dental Service Organizations)
• Establish rapport and trust with these stakeholders
• Regularly engage in high-level strategic discussions

2. Business development:

• Analyze market trends and growth opportunities within the DSO specialty space
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and gather intelligence

3. Specialty growth enablement:

• Identify areas of opportunity for specialty growth within DSOs
• Develop targeted growth strategies in collaboration with clients
• Own implementation and monitor progress to ensure success

4. Thought leadership and industry expertise:

• Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and innovations
• Share insights and knowledge with clients and internal teams
• Position Straumann DSO Consulting as a trusted advisor in the DSO specialty space

Minimum Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 5+ years of work experience within the Dental or Healthcare industry in Consulting roles
• 5+ years of experience in the dental specialty (implants and/or ortho) space
• 5+ years of expereince in formulating a business strategy and comprehending the financial implications of proposed actions on the client's P/L
• 3+ years of expereince in leading group interactions and possessing extensive experience in managing change

• Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills with high degree of emotional intelligence
• High degree of industry knowledge to unlock hidden value that may not be readily identifiable to our customers
• Entrepreneurial spirit, creative problem-solving mindset
• Hands-on, self-motivated team player
• Resilient – able to adapt and perform in changing customer and organizational environments, combined with a can-do attitude
• Leadership, tenacity, and the ability to manage by influence in a fast-paced and evolving matrix environment
• High level of integrity and commitment
• Lean/Six-Sigma training or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
