Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and implementation of new tools, technologies, and practices. These tools and technologies will be used to analyze, and present data through the creation of insightful and actionable reports and visualizations.
  • Work with Business Owners to define and implement a list of priorities for the development of data visualizations.
  • Define planned outcomes and partner with Data-warehouse developers to build appropriate data models.
  • Develop processes for Business Intelligence to ensure stable technology solutions
  • Create technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions.
  • Create technical documentation related to reports and software, including technical designs, functional designs, use cases and test case documentation.
  • Document DAX code and approach to management of Power Bi Books

Qualifications:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or other related field
  • Experience building data visualizations using Power BI
  • Intermediate or better proficiency in DAX
  • Working knowledge of Power Query and/or M language
  • Demonstrated understanding of key concepts in the design and creation of dimensional models
  • Proficiency in using one or more programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python
  • Experience utilizing, and optimizing the use of, multiple large data sets
  • Prior experience in the facilitating conversations to translate business requirements into the technical data requirements needed to develop solutions.
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication
  • 1 or more years of professional experience performing data analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating multiple components of the Microsoft BI Stack, with specific emphasis on Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Azure services
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging advanced analytics capabilities with Power BI
  • Experience maintaining and developing data PowerBI reports
  • Microsoft Power BI and/or Azure Certification
