The Power BI Data Analyst will direct and perform logical data modeling, identify patterns in data, and perform the documentation of the enterprise data warehouse and ETL processes. This team member will be knowledgeable in Data Governance initiatives to support the Enterprise Data Strategy across operational and analytical database environments. This position will work closely with the Data Analysts support the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Essential Requirements:
- 5 years Power BI experience
- Maintain existing dashboards
- Gateways: Installation, maintenance and upgrades
- Performance tweaking
- Create new dashboards
- Row level security
- Create views, tables, stored procedures
- Perform quality assurance testing
- Train users on usage
- Answer user questions about dashboard results
- Microsoft SQL experience
- Nice to have – PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, DAX, M queries, REST APIs
Experience
Required- 5 - 7 years: A minimum of 5 years of Power BI experience
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field
