Cumberland International Trucks just opened a new, climate-controlled 170k square feet facility with 55+ bays, 2 employee breakrooms, showers, locker rooms, vending machines, endless free coffee, a driver lounge & laundry room. Cumberland is seeking a hard-working, motivated & friendly Porter or Janitor in Nashville, TN to assist with maintenance of our massive new facility, keep work areas safe & clean, & proactive at stocking goods. This position is crucial to achieving the highest customer satisfaction & dealer profitability by performing cleaning & maintenance duties in accordance with vendor & company policies. Additional responsibilities include driving medium & heavy duty vehicles around the lot & dealership, making small facility repairs & keeping the dealership running seamlessly.

• Organizational/facility maintenance skills, passed drug screen & background check required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean and neat work environment for employees and customers: take trash out daily, sweep service bays, clean up spills or messes that occur in the service department, etc.
• Drive forklift and possess the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Maintain materials, keep supplies stocked and full for a supreme customer and employee experience
• Replace light bulbs, touch up paint chips, remove scuff marks/stains, and some light electrical and mechanical repairs
• Parts pick-up or delivery, use a forklift, move/drive customer trucks around lot when needed

Qualifications

• Some degree of product and truck dealership knowledge is desired
• Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
• Professional demeanor, friendly and positive attitude
• Flexible to tasks assigned, including driving for the company
• Possess a valid CDL and clean driving record
