Porter/Maintenance Job at Jennings McCall
Jennings McCall Center is looking for a full-time Porter/Maintenance Tech to join our current team in assisting our residents with daily maintenance and upkeep needs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Previous experience as a Porter/Maintenance Tech required. Experience in long term care a plus.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Perform repairs and general upkeep on the building, including minor repairs, painting, etc.
- Assist with moving Life Care residents from their homes into the Jennings McCall facility.
- Participate in all required trainings.
- Keep accurate records, receipts and written information for work done, items purchased, etc.
- Assists within other departments such as banquet and other special projects. (i.e. set up and take down of equipment for events/special projects)
- Share the “on call” duty rotation
