Pipefitters needed in Morristown, TN and surrounding areas for commercial/industrial projects
Pay: $25-$29/hour DOE
**MUST LIVE WITHIN 40 MIN of Morristown, TN**
NO TRAVEL PAY OR PER DIEM OFFERED
*$150 Sign-on Bonus*
Responsibilities:
- Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clams, tools or welding equipment.
- Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience Pipefitting on a commercial/industrial level
Employees must have proper PPE hard hat, work boots, work gloves, safety glasses, and safety vest. Must have all hand tools.
