Safely operates and maintains boilers, HVAC, compressors, pumps and other auxiliary equipment necessary for hospital function. Can perform in a specialty area, such as electrical, HVAC, construction, etc. Safely performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital plant as directed. Performs minor plumbing and electrical repairs. Reports to the Facility Services Coordinator and Director of Facility Services.

Responsible for following the standards, policies and procedures developed for the Physical Therapy department and its patients. Therapists will screen new patients as needed, perform functional assessments and plan/implement treatment programs for individual patients under orders of a qualified individual and according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. The Physical Therapist will orient new staff, participate in Departmental and Hospital committees and activities and work with the Physical Therapy support team to ensure quality care. This position will oversee Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy aides. This position reports to the Director of Rehab Services.

Qualifications

Demonstrates ability to work as an interdisciplinary team member. Must be willing to cross train to work in multiple areas (acute, outpatients) and with broad age range (pediatric to geriatric). Able to demonstrate good working knowledge of Title 22, JCAHO standards, and county regulations. Will possess strong communication/people skills. Possesses the skills necessary to perform evaluations of patients in ages ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Able to fulfill the physical essential job functions of a physical therapist.

  • One-year general acute experience preferred.
  • Master's Degree in the field of Physical Therapy
  • Current CA license for Physical Therapy or license eligible.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR.

Pay Range: $45.08 - $69.86

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
