Job Summary:

At Home Therapy Solutions is dedicated to compassionate care, clinical excellence and providing comfort and support to patients and families in need. We are looking for PRN Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists to provide intensive rehabilitation therapy services to patients in their home or local community setting in the Houston, Katy, Cypress, Tomball, Humble, The Woodlands, Livingston, Huntsville, Sugar Land, Rosenberg, Richmond, Pearland TX area.

Responsibilities of the PT:

• The PT is responsible for providing medically prescribed, goal-oriented therapy in accordance with Physician Plan of Care, company policies and professional standards of practice.
• As the Physical Therapist, you will provide therapeutic treatments and participate in the development of patient physical therapy plans of care.

Skills of the PT:

• Ability to write reports and procedures and document in the medical records.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, patients, physicians, family members and general public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must have ability to critically think and problem solve. Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Qualifications / Requirements of the PT:

• Successful completion of a degree from an accredited therapy program or one that is determined to be substantially equivalent to a U.S.-accredited program by an appropriate certifying agency preferred.
• Must be licensed or registered by the State of Texas.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must have a current CPR certification.
• Must have Auto insurance and Professional Liability Insurance.
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers required.
• Clear TB Testing within last year.
• Home Health experience preferable.
