Overview:

Due to growth, AUM Physical Therapy & Yoga Center is now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Orthopedics focused position in Bakersfield, CA. This is a Staff Level role. New grads will be mentored and supported.

The well-established team at AUM Physical Therapy & Yoga Center is passionate and friendly. This privately owned practice has a strong team-based culture with an emphasis on mentorship and training to facilitate personal and professional growth.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting.

The candidate should be interested in a holistic, manual therapy & exercise-based approach.

Hours / Work Schedule:

This is a full-time salaried position. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:15 am - 5:30 pm. The clinic is closed 12 pm - 1 pm for lunch. No weekends or holidays.

Caseload/Patient Population:

The patient population consists of all age ranges (10 - 80), mainly adults, and a variety of outpatient diagnoses, primarily orthopedics. Sample caseload includes Neck/Back pain, Post-operative Knee, Shoulder, TMJ, Headaches – any head-to-toe pain.
