Our St. Francis hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Tech. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in in our Pharmacy Department.
The St. Francis Campus is fully accredited by the joint Commission. We also have the following notable accreditations and certifications:
  • Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification
  • Inpatient Rehab Stroke Certification
Responsibilities:
Executes the non-judgmental tasks of the Department of Pharmacy to assist in the safe, accurate and timely management of medications. These duties include preparing medications & IV admixtures for Pharmacist's verification, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, answering telephone and department doors/windows, performing unit inspections, departmental billing, & dosage calculations. The position is supervised by Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Operations Coordinator and/or the Director of Pharmacy.
Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Registration with Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. Successful completion of CPhT exam within 6 months of hire.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy practice in a hospital setting. Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Mathematics skills.
