Galleria Medical Pharmacy is a speciality compounding pharamcy located in Metairie, LA. We’re fast paced, detail oriented, patient care centered but also building a cohesive team approach and fun environment.
This Cashier position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Cashier works directly with each customer to process their transactions quickly. The position requires constant attention to detail, and the Cashier will be expected to speak clearly and maintain a strong sense of organization throughout their shift.
Responsibilities:
- Provide good customer service.
- Be on time and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Have good communication skills and ability to take direction from superiors.
- Check customers' identification and credit cards for fraud.
- Able to lift at least 25 lbs for shipping and receiving duties.
- Be able to deal with challenging customers.
- Operate point of sale equipment.
- Have knowledge of general accounting operations.
- Assists in ordering any supplies or equipment for the office.
