Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Personnel Security Assistant to support the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) a division of DOJ in Falls Church, VA.

Hourly wage: $32.21 hr. (non-negotiable)

The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certification. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.*

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of clerical, administrative and program tasks in support of EOIR personnel security program:
  • Prepares and distributes forms and materials to applicants for their pre-employment security processing. Responds to general inquiries regarding the completion of said forms and/or materials.
  • Reviews received package to ensure all required documents are completed.
  • Prepares and distributes forms and materials to employees for the employee reinvestigation program and for other employee re-investigations as required; responds to requests for additional forms; Once forms are received back, reviews forms to assure that all required information is provided and follows up to fill gaps in needed information; enters pertinent information into appropriate computer databases.
  • Performs a variety of special assignments of a one-time or recurring nature for the AD/ Admin, the SPM and Personnel Security Specialists. Assignments may include researching and providing information, feedback, opinions, suggestions, and recommendations on various security matters and topics, based on their close and confidential working relationships.
  • Develops and maintains subject files for security programs and activities at headquarters and the courts.
  • Composes a variety of routine written material, which reflects Security Office policies and special interests, and which may be signed by the SPM, the Supervisory Security Specialist, the Personnel Security Specialists, or signed personally.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must be able to obtain DOJ issued clearance and meet all security requirements
Must be able to pass CGI Federal background check
