Personal Tax Sr. Manager - REMOTE or HYBRID

Our Personal Tax team is seeking a talented and initiative-taking professional with a tax background in public accounting. The position will serve an instrumental role by upholding our reputation with clients that we care!

This role will work closely with the Personal Tax Services leader to develop and assist in growing our services in a variety of industries including Nonprofit, Manufacturing and Distribution, Construction, Engineering, Healthcare, and Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Review mid level and complex individual income tax returns
• Oversee quarterly tax planning and estimated taxes
• Assist with correspondence to taxing authorities
• Perform mid-high level tax research projects
• Assist team with process and procedural improvements/efficiencies
• Support all aspects of client services and foster client relationships
• Participate in preparing and delivering internal trainings
• Supervise associate/senior level employees

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license
• At least 7 - 10 years of public accounting experience in Tax
• Strong communication skills
• Capacity to manage multiple projects
• Strong technical knowledge of tax concepts and the ability to apply these services to various client situations

• Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment
