Perioperative Technician Job at The Medical Center at Bowling Green
Position Summary
Performs duties pertaining to preparation for anesthesia and other surgical operations. Provides clinical and technical support and assistance for various surgical services including providing support to Surgical Technologists, RNs, CRNAs and Anesthesiologists. Performs cleaning services to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Assists with transporting patients, stocking materials, and performs a variety of other support duties within the surgical department as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous Anesthesia Assistant experience or completion of equivalent educational program preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Previous cleaning service duties to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and employees preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Certified Anethesia Technician preferred.
