Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey’s largest integrated health care systems, is seeking a sixth BE/BC Pediatric Intensivist to join our award-winning critical care team at Goryeb Children's Hospital in Morristown, NJ. This position primarily involves clinical responsibilities, but the ideal candidate will also be expected to participate in other activities such as teaching, QI, research, and clinical program development. As we expand our team with this additional intensivist position, we are transitioning to a 24/7 in-house coverage model to ensure optimal care for our patients. Goryeb Children’s Hospital is a leading tertiary center in Northern New Jersey that receives referrals from the region. We are proud to have an independent pediatric residency program, which includes 12 residents per year, and we teach Emergency Medicine residents, Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellows, and medical students, reflecting our commitment to education and training. Our 15-bed Goryeb PICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including HFOV, nitric oxide, cardiac output monitoring, CVVH, and more. As the pediatric flagship for Atlantic Health, a network of 5 hospitals in Northern New Jersey, we have access to most pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, including an active pediatric neurosurgical program.
