Responsibilities:

• Input/download payroll data for weekly payroll cycle
• Verify supporting detail (including authorization) is available for payroll adjustments.
• Check for certified payroll compliance and other project-specific pay rate requirements.
• Generate draft certified payroll reports, as well as other reports as requested.
• Assist with resolution of payroll issues as they arise in a positive, professional and timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of employee information and company operations.
• Set-up and file employee documents.
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
• Enter pay adjustments, employee information changes, tax changes and deductions as directed

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of construction payroll
• Proficient in Outlook, Word; excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with all personality types and under strict deadlines.
• Reliable with strong work ethic and excellent teamwork.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential material.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an ambitious person that has 2+ years high-volume construction payroll experience that includes certified payroll, preferably in a multi-company environment. Experience with construction accounting/payroll software (ex: Viewpoint Vista, Sage/Timberline, etc.) preferred. The right person will have a positive attitude, focus on solving problems professionally, and team focus. There is great opportunity for the right person to broaden their payroll skills in our rapidly expanding company.

Role:
This is an individual contributor role on a payroll team of 3 processing ~900 manual checks weekly. This position reports to the payroll manager, and will be cross-trained on additional duties to back-up other payroll team members.
