We are seeking candidates for the position of Payroll Administrator. This individual is part of our Human Resources team of 5, however will serve as the company's payroll expert. The primary purpose of this position is to process and report payroll in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for 1000+ employees
  • Enter pay details
  • Strong communication with management and employees
  • Process wage garnishments and withholding orders
  • Prepare reports
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Answer questions regarding payroll
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures related to payroll
  • Regularly audit payroll data
  • Ability to understand and answer tax related questions
  • Use of the following software and programs: Proliant - ReadyPay, Attendance on Demand and Excel is a preferred

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a payroll position
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Some college preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and critical thinking skillls
  • Excellent math, Excel, and report writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
