The PSR is an entry-level position under the supervision of the Practice Supervisor that performs various procedures associated with routine patient encounters, some duties are as followed:
  • Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
  • Registration of patients
  • Discharging of patients
  • Collect and verify patient information and insurance coverage.
  • Manage written, verbal and electronic communications.
  • Payment/Copayment collection
  • Maintenance of patient charts and or electronic health records (EHRs)
Requirements
  • 6+ months working with the public, experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • Pleasant attitude, a professional appearance, and a willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • You must demonstrate accuracy, timeliness, attention to detail, and must strive for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
Must be willing to work weekends and some afternoon (2-8pm) shifts. We are open 8am-8pm, 7 days a week.
