Make return appointments by scheduling patients into themed ical information from patients and referring physicians accurately,corre ctappointment type,Prepare encounter forms. Investigate and account form issing encounterand prioritize work, provideforms. Audit encountermanage ment andpatientoral and written instructions, interact tactfully with cu stomers andnext day preparationentering the primary care physician or re ferring physician andscheduling tests and procedures.forms for completen ess and accuracy before batching. Batches encounterforms or charge posti ngactivities. Enter pre-visit orders and prepare new patient charts. Pic kfile and distribute insurancespecific chart documents and requisition/t ransmittal documents. Copy,medical records, reports, petty cash and coll ections bag. File historyappointment scheduling. Position also involvesc ustomer service,message distribution, ancillaryscheduling and preparatio n and referralsup X-rays, office charts,sheets, ancillary reports andall other required patient record documentation. Return medicalrecords. Att ach HIPPA/Medicaredocuments to the encounter forms.Check-in patient upon arrival in the practice. Identify correctpatient information in Maestr o Care.Verify patient demographic data. Edit Maestro Care as needed.Accu rately identify the appropriateaccount for patient visit. Present and ed ucate patients on requiredforms and obtain signature asrequired by polic y and procedure. Completes all Maestro Care check-infiles and manage all appropriate alerts. Collect and post co-payments and balances onaccounts due. Imprint all patientcards as indicated by procedure. Coordinate all labs/procedures asrequested. Maintain privatephysician office charts.in Maestro Care.of cash to be collectedbased on insurance plan.



Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education


Experience

Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and activities. providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectively coordinating multiple tasks or
