Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures using identified technology systems. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.

You Will Be Responsible For :

Exceptional Patient Care : Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions

Excellent Communicator : Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits.

Technical Familiarity: Collects non-covered fees.Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are accurate.

Requirements :

• Minimum High school or equivalent

• One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred

• Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices

• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances
