Manage all aspects and daily operations of the Telemetry Monitoring Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Maintain an autonomous environment that inspires Tele Techs to reach their full potential and mentor over 268 patients across the Allen and Milstein Hospital. Drive strategic initiatives that shape the future of cardiac care and align with hospital-wide goals. Regularly assess department operations and identify process improvements to enhance patient safety. Assume front-line responsibility for the department's fiscal performance, resource allocation, scheduling, and staff evaluation.
Preferred Criteria
Five years of leadership experience in a cardiac department within a large academic medical center
Demonstrated leadership in leading unit development
Experience with union environments
Required Criteria
At least three years of acute care experience
Four years of leadership experience
Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
