Job Summary:
HCA East Florida and Forward Pathology Solutions (FPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of HCA, are recruiting for a Medical Director for HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, located on Florida’s Atlantic coast. All FPS pathologists have access to the sub-specialty expertise of over 100 pathologists in its network.
HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, a 317-bed full service acute care facility, has been recognized for its breakthroughs in orthopedic care, robotics and general surgery as well as for its world-class patient-centered care, accreditations and certifications and latest technology offerings. Woodmont Hospital holds several Healthgrades™ Five-Star Awards for services such as Total Hip Replacement, Treatment of Stroke, Gallbladder Removal Surgery and Appendectomy Surgery and was recently named among the top 5% of hospitals in the nation recognized for patient safety.
Qualified Candidates:
- AP/CP Board Certification required
- 2 years hospital-based Medical Director Experience preferred
- Sub-specialty training preferred
- Florida licensed or FCVS in place preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
