Title: Reilly Road Custodian

Reports to: Reilly Road Campus Operation and Community Outreach

Summary:

This role is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and attractive environment that supports worship and a learning environment that promotes health, positive morale and pride. Execution excellence enables us to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by ensuring every person who attends our church has a remarkable guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the Village Baptist Church’s principles, programs and policies, following all safety rules and procedures & ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws, codes and ordinances
• Accountable for completing assigned daily scope of work according to area checklist cleaning detail for restrooms, classrooms, fellowship hall, hallways, offices, meeting spaces, worship room, common areas and any other area within the facility as needed
• Ensure all floors and surfaces on campus are cleaned regularly as assigned
• Ensures a safe working environment through proactively preventing accidents through responding quickly to customer needs, properly using equipment and safety gear, the preservation / daily care of equipment, participating in safety drills and implementing safe work practices within the team
• Perform minor painting and facility upkeep as required
• Responsible for maintaining building cleanliness, responding to spills, accidents, and other real time needs within the facility
• Complete special projects to ensure the Village Baptist Church is continuously striving towards excellence
• Moves any furniture or equipment as directed by the RR Campus Operaion and Community Outreach
• Assess facilities to determine future projects to recommend to the RR Campus Operaion and Community Outreach
• Set up, arrange, and removed tables, chairs, etc. in order to prepare for events and meetings
• Other tasks as assigned by the RR Campus Operaion and Community Outreach

Pay: $11.00 per hour
