Part-Time Receptionist/File Clerk Job at Chapman Volkswagen Scottsdale
Chapman Volkswagen Scottsdale is seeking a dependable Receptionist/File Clerk to join our dynamic team! Preferred candidates are friendly and great at connecting with others. Previous customer service or receptionist experience is a plus! This is a part time role offering 15 – 20 hours per week.
Compensation and Schedule Details:
- Compensation starts at $13.85 per hour
- Monday – Saturday availability required, shifts are 5pm to 9pm (You will not be scheduled every day. Schedules are provided a month in advance.)
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a multi-line phone system, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold
- Communicate with customers and staff in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner
- Sort files and documents alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance, etc. and create or update records with new files and information
- Store all paperwork and documents in designated places, ensuring confidential information is safeguarded
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience is preferred, but we'll train you!
- Great listener, absorbs every detail
- Cooperative and can connect with people quickly
- Strong ability to multi task with high attention to detail
- Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, etc.) preferred
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
