Part-time Principal Member of the Technical Staff

This is a part-time position, expected to last until December 2023.

The part-time Principal Member of the Technical Staff will determine goals for SEI workshops, as well as determining needed changes to the planning checklist (including outreach and agenda). The role includes implementing a workshop plan, hosting a workshop, evaluating results of the workshop with feedback from educators, and creating a workshop summary report. The position will also incorporate feedback into the planning checklist for continuous improvement, as well as share a detailed report with division management, and proposing a budget for the following year.
Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science or related, with at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and/or software research.
  • You will be subject to a background investigation and must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
