A lovely couple is looking for a dedicated, part-time housekeeper. They are looking for someone to ensure the household is cleaned, maintained and organized to the highest standards and per their specifications and preferences. In addition to cleaning and general tidying, the housekeeper is also expected to manage the household laundry, overseeing maintenance appointments, and ensuring all items are fully stocked.

Location: Sammamish, WA

Hours: 25 hours per week; ideally Mondays to Friday, 9:00am -2:00pm

Start Date: ASAP

Day to Day

• Ensuring all aspects of the property—interiors as well as exteriors—are maintained and cleaned to the highest standard at all times while referencing cleaning checklist
• Tidying the outdoor spaces of the property, including the entryway, stairs, patio, etc. to include quarterly pressure washing of outdoor areas and garbage bin
• Ensuring specified products are used on the appropriate surfaces
• Tidying all rooms to ensure items are neatly stored and rooms look immaculate at all times
• Arranging professional cleaning of furnishings as needed
• Assisting with laundry, hand washing, ironing, and dry cleaning
• Managing the wardrobes, keeping them organized and neat
• Ensuring linens are freshened daily, or as needed
• Regularly undertaking walk throughs and checks of the property to ensure any problems are proactively addressed and solved
• Clean car interiors
• Looking after the plants and flowers throughout the property
• Tidying the kitchen after meal preparation and ensuring all food prep is stored in the appropriate location and nothing is left out
• Light cooking
• Assisting with cooking preparation (chopping vegetables)

Candidates Must:

• Have at least 4 years' experience in a similar role
• A valid driver’s license
• Have strong command of the English language with good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Supply excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
• Legally able to work within the United States
• Lives in the surrounding area with a manageable commute
