Nurse Next Door is looking for caregivers who are able to work PRN and part - time. (no experience required).

Duties
We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients’ needs.

• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care

• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer(s).

• Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) that is within the scope of practice for a Caregiver.

• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.

• Meet the safety needs of the client and use of equipment safely and properly.

• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.

• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Other Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be considered an asset.

• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Care Designer(s) when needed.

• Able to travel from client to client in a timely fashion. Drivers with own vehicle are preferred.

Skills & Experience

• Passionate about making a difference.

• Described as a self led leader with the ability to take responsibility for own behavior and success.

• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license/State ID

• Vehicle Insurance

• Clean background

• Willing to undergo a background check

• Have or be willing to get an up to date TB test

• Be willing to provide 3 references

• Have reliable transportation

Location

We are currently working out of the Indianapolis area. (Fishers, Whitestown, McCordsville, Geist, Lebanon, etc). Although, we are always able to work in other areas of the state, so having a client near you is a possibility!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
