Anticipated Work Schedule

This position generally works a ten-hour shift: Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday 7 am to 5pm. Occasional weekends or other shifts dependent on product demand (may change based upon business needs).

Position Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Packaging Supervisor and / or Packaging Manager and is responsible for assisting with the packaging of finished products as well as assisting in the Mill Room, Optyx 2, Blend Line, and Destoner areas when needed for Minnesota Dehydrated Vegetables, Inc.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the packaging of product.

· Responsible to keep all packaging, granulating equipment blend line and destoning areas clean, sanitized and free of any debris.

· Responsible to keep the warehouse areas neat, organized, clean and free of any debris according to Quality Assurance standards.

· Reports any equipment problems or deviations to the Assistant Packaging Supervisor and the Packaging Manager immediately.

· Assists the Assistant Packaging Supervisor and Packaging Manager with other duties as assigned / needed.

Requirements and Skills

· Must have negative pre-employment and/or subsequent drug/alcohol test results.

· Read, write, add simple one, two and three digit numbers.

Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or GED preferred.

· Ability to operate a forklift and have a current forklift certification.
