SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibility for the P21 Analyst is to understand the company’s ERP system, which is the Epicor Prophet 21 system. Lead, teach and train all existing and new employees on ERP system. Learn employee rolls to understand training needs. Create training programs for current employees and onboarding programs for new employees. Be the liaison between the employees and Epicor to help with the needs of the employee. Lead other programs utilized for sales tracking.

JOB DUTIES:

• Learn & become the subject matter expert for all of the inner workings of the system.
• Manage the DFP help desk for any P21 questions and/or issues.
• Collaborate with SBP P21 team.
• Manage system upgrades and new procedures.
• Attend P21 user’s group and participate in committees relevant to Dakota Fluid Power.
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend solutions.
• Create, monitor and modify standard procedures in the use of the system.
• Develop programs and curriculum for the employee(s) of the organization for orientation and on-job training.
• Identify future training needs and create a curriculum to facilitate that training.
• Research new training supplies and materials that can enhance a firm’s training procedures while providing value to employees.
• Provide support and mentoring for new employees while conducting an evaluation and identifying sections where improvements are needed.
• Search for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity.
• Assist with new implementations of P21 in future locations.
• Lead programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes, acquisitions and mergers.
• Communicate with management, trainers and team members to ensure that all needs are met.
• Maintain strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement/sales goals.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred experience and knowledge with Epicor Prophet 21 ERP system;
• Minimum of Associate’s degree in education, business, information technology or related field;
• Certification from training associations a plus;
• Willing to travel a portion of the time, and/or able to conduct virtual training;
• Two (2) years' previous experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position;
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), data visualization tools and SQL, and demonstrated ability to utilize applications within ERP software;
• Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms;
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal) with all levels of management;
• Organized and able to create multiple timelines, and schedules;
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently;
• Excellent leadership through mentoring and building teams.
