Outside Sales Representative (B2B) Job at American Portable Air of Atlanta

American Portable Air is a regional rental company that provides climate control rental solutions to the commercial and industrial markets. We are currently looking for a qualified outside sales associate who is a disciplined self starter with at least 3 years experience in (B2B) sales to join our team.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • The position will consist of Cold Calling on current and new customers in and around the Atlanta Metro market to build and maintain customer relationships. Occasional travel to Jacksonville market when applicable and needed.
  • Visit customers on a regular basis (6 week cycle) to build stronger relationships. Routing, driving and managing Calling Program. HVAC Contractors, Hospital & Healthcare customers, Building Engineers & Property Managers.
  • Responsible for the prospecting, developing and marketing to targeted accounts within a specified territory.
  • Preparing quotes and followup with customers.
  • A strong understanding of our products and product applications.
  • Completion and Reporting of sales call reports on company CRM on a weekly basis.
  • Available to visit job-sites and walk throughs, interface with customer, and to appraise, quote and asses what equipment will be needed to complete the job.
  • As a Team member occasional responsibilities will include communicating and assisting the branch manager with ongoing deliveries/pickups, installations and breakdowns during peak times of the season, or as needed.
  • Attend, assist and support company Trade Shows, Industry Organizations and events as needed.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and work well without constant supervision.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and email.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Skills:

  • College degree
  • 1 – 3 years of successful sales experience
  • HVAC and construction Industry or rental Industry knowledge, a plus

Job Type : Full Time

Salary Base plus commission: $50,000 -$85,000 (uncapped commission potential)
