We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative in Indiana

This company is an International Trading company that specializes in Japanese, European, Korean, and Chinese MRO (Maintenance Repair Operation) spare parts. We also provide High precision tool and die, General machining, Fabrication, and a proprietary Harmonics treatment to counter premature abrasive wear on cutting tools, and are Universal Collaborative Robot and MiR Mobile Robot Integrators. We supply MRO spare parts primarily to the automotive industry but not limited to. Product is imported and exported all over the world.

Job Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for visiting current and prospective customers to build and grow successful relationships. Effective time management and territory planning are essential skills that will be required to increase sales with existing customers as well as developing new relationships within your territory.

Salary: $75,000 plus commission

Position: Direct Hire

Territory: State of Indiana- No overnight travel

  • Training: Training will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee for 2 weeks at the Corporate Office

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective and current customers to solicit sales for company products and services
  • Travel to customer locations throughout the whole state to present company products, services, and pricing information
  • Follow up on sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns and other promotional efforts
  • Apply technical knowledge of company products, services and pricing information
  • Submit appropriate paperwork to management such as expense and call reports in accordance with training procedures
  • Understand and support company sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective services to all customers, and foster the development of long-term business relationships
  • Assist and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, notify management of problem and suggest corrective action
  • Collect and report competitive information to management
  • Attend training activities and trade shows on behalf of the company to present information regarding company products and services

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of prior Outside Sales experience
  • Technical Sales experience
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Territory growth experience
  • Consultative selling approach
  • Working knowledge of computers and common software tools (MS Office, Salesforce, etc)
  • Drivers License- must meet insurance underwriting requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle objections and negotiations
  • Time management and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
