Job Summary
The Oracle 19c DBA Architect will be responsible for developing a migration, disaster recovery and proactive monitoring plan of 6 Oracle 19c databases supporting the customer’s Teamcenter environment to Microsoft Azure tenancy.
Responsibilities
- Analyze source environment Oracle DBs, validate integrations, sizing, cpu, memory requirements to prepare to move to Azure tenancy.
- Assist with target environment configuration (Azure) to employ Oracle databases supporting high availability, fault tolerance and disaster recovery.
- Design proactive monitoring capabilities with integration to Azure Monitoring and/or Splunk using Oracle Enterprise Manager, and the Tuning, Diagnostics and Stats Packs..
- Resolve technical issues
- Be an active member within company’s Oracle technology communities
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle database administration skills
- Experience implementing Oracle Enterprise Manager and associated addon packs.
- Oracle database architecture design for cloud environments
- Interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with clients
- Communication skills to effectively facilitate workshops
Nice to Have Skills:
- Oracle DB administration for Teamcenter
- Microsoft Azure Architect certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 to 10 years of experiences in the IT profession
